DASIK-Modules

The following table provides an insight into a first provisional schedule for all of the five DASIK-Modules. Furthermore, for each DASIK-Module there is a main responsible university, which conducts the course in coordination with a trusted advisor from one or two companies. These and the other companies named in the “Providers”-column provide contents in terms of learning/teaching/training material, guest lecturers, certifications, software, case studies, industry frameworks, experts, lap assistance or e-learning environments. Besides the recipients from the involved industry partners given in the following table, the universities can also nominate students to take part in the courses. Each course should not have more than 25 attendees.

All participants discussed about the concrete definition of each DASIK-Module. These modules are presented in South Africa. The definition of each DASIK-Module and its content was very necessary in order to meet the requirements of the industry partners, which is one of the major objectives of the DASIK project. Therefore, the members argued about the course level, prior knowledge, which is necessary to attend to the course and the most important (learning) outcomes of each DASIK-Module. These results build up the basis for the development of the different DASIK-Modules as the next step of the project. A brief description of the five DASIK-Modules is given below.
