Mobile Computing (MC)

This course provides an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the issues involved in the design and evaluation of mobile applications. On successful completion of this course, the learner should have gained an understanding of the issues involved in designing, prototyping and evaluating mobile applications on a mobile platform such as Android, Windows 8/Windows Phone, Windows Azure or Apple iOS. Particularly the use of social media and social networks in the context of MC can also be discussed.

Advanced - Master level

Prior Knowledge

The attendees must have experience with an object-oriented programming language and need to know basic concepts of programming languages and databases. Furthermore, the attendees must know how to design and implement algorithms in order to solve different problems in the course. Knowledge of basic skills in software and requirements engineering is also desirable.
